These lovely little candies are made from 100% pure Vermont maple. How do we make maple candy? We heat maple sap past the syrup stage; the maple flavor and sweetness intensify as it concentrates. At the crystalline stage, it is whipped and then poured into a mold to become maple candy. We then dry the candies for 8 hrs. then we dip each piece in syrup and let the candies sit for 8 hrs. Then the candies are dried for another 8 hrs. sealing in the maple goodness.
